Description

Daehaeng Sunin compares ‘juingong’ to the root of the tree, the fundamental mind. She describes the ‘mind’ as the foundation of the universe, the foundation of the sun, and the foundation through which human beings manage and do all things in their daily lives. Mind is the omniscient and omnipotent creator that makes everything and transcends all concepts.

According to her, the mind does not have colour, shape, location, beginning or end. The mind cannot be said to be this or that, inside or outside. The mind cannot be divided, cannot be absorbed, and cannot be destroyed.
