“On a quiet day, I can hear the Earth breathing“. Arundhati Roy
I am falling in love with the conversations of the wind and the boulders of the mountain. I feel her resilience and courage, not her power. I am willing to reach into the darkness, to touch the quivering silence of the origin, enlivening the almost deadened roots of a bruised world.
I hear the rushing sound of sadness and vulgarity of a violent world and the unspeakable insignificance of the human condition.
Yet, I know that a new reality is unfurling; a new world is not only possible, but she is on her way… I can hear her breathing… I feel her breath in my body as she seeks the liar of love, multiplicity and beauty in the fertile depths of veiled possibilities.
Writing this book was an attempt to watch the restless clouds dressing and undressing the cold mountain, never to look away and never to give up. It was an attempt to grow new roots in the dark, rich soil of a tomorrow, reaching down into the ‘vibrating silence’, the profound stillness that is the Mother of transformation, where every moment is a canvas for constant creation
The book Breathing with the Earth is an attempt never to forget to love and laugh, to be loved, and to wake up to the wonders of the Earth, the Universe, and every moment of constant creation.
